It’s a new day!

For the past week or so I keep thinking about day one of my blog and how it will go.  It’s not really going as I thought it would, yet.  I think it’s because I don’t know a thing about web design, and I had to wait semi patiently for Matthew to put this together so I could write and I had plans before lol.  That’s life though; right when we think we have it planned something comes up.  I saw this verse today that is really helping me put all things into perspective;

“Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice” Psalm 105: 1-3

As this is a week full of changes for me, I am going praise Him and tell others what He has done!

Merry Christmas to our followers and friends! “today in the city of David there has been born for you a Saviour who is Christ the Lord! Luke 2:11
We’re praying for you!!

Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8’9 WEB “for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.”
It is evident that we are not saved by our good works, but of course, we should be doing them. Jesus put on our sin, and we put on His righteousness. That is the glorious exchange that happened at the cross. But as I understand it, there is no forgiveness of sin without you actually asking God for it. But other than asking, there is nothing more to add to what Jesus has done for us. It is finished.
Pray:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for allowing us to see another Christmas in our life. Today we celebrate the birth of Your Son Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Way, the Truth, and the Light. May my entire family come to know You. Please forgive us of our sins and give us Your peace. Let us shine Your love on the Earth. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Be encouraged today, for no matter where you are, you are not alone. For it is the Lord God Almighty who goes with you. When the trouble comes, so will the answer. Keep the Lord first in your life, and all the other things will fall into place as needed. Do not fear what may come tomorrow, for you will be prepared to face it when it arrives.
Pray:
Heavenly Father, I know that You are here, and I choose to believe that all things will work together for good, whether I understand them or not. Please walk with me and talk with me today, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
